Ponton: the hunt goes on. This place is very clean with a good garage and workshop less than 5km to work.

The boatyard cats are looking a little hungry without me being around on a regular basis it was quite a reception
Defiance must be trucked from Waupoos!
Clyde however was happy to visit. He is such a cool cat, and so resilient. Any lesser cat would be dead now, while he still possess great dignity. He shows so many scars from this winter it is amazing that the events have not changed his nature.
The Defiance story took another turn on Sunday. Bruce the new owner of Defiance had decided the timing was not right for him to pursue the project and had received an offer from Mike the other significant bidder in the original sale of Defiance. It appears that the marina management does not want your editor to assist the new owner in finishing the bottom job for which Defiance was hauled out for. Ours is only to report, this is private property their call.

Now that we have established that the welcome mat has been withdrawn the push to get settled in comfortable digs with a shore life continues. Todays offering is a bigger place which at first look was close to the ideal. This place had a high cat street with nature trails and a major part two blocks away with at least three blocks every direction to a main road.
